Jeter, born and raised at Deer Park, is known for his career with the Texas Longhorns from 1988-1991 and his NFL career from 1992-1996. The defensive tackle was a two-time member of the All-Southwest Conference Team. His NFL career began when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1992, and he played as defensive tackle for three seasons. His last year in the NFL was for the Carolina Panthers in 1996. In 2018 Jeter was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
