Ganado 2025 ATH Cain Hayden: Hayden played a tremendous game, taking home Defensive MVP honors after collecting two TFLs and two interceptions to go with his 102 yards and two touchdown catches on offense. The athletic two-way standout will be a steal for someone at the next level and currently has offers from McMurry, Hendrix and more.

Gunter 2025 ATH Hayden Farrell: Farrell took home Defensive MVP honors of the 3A Division 2 game after a three-sack, 5.5 TFL performance. We listed the Hardin-Simmons commitment as an athlete here because he is a multifaceted prospect who can be situationally moved around the defense.

Columbus 2025 QB Adam Schobel: Schobel put his stamp on a prolific TXHSFB career with a state title win and OFFENSIVE MVP hardware. The 6-foot-4 gunslinger signed with TCU and his addition to the QB room will be interesting because he brings a different set of attributes to the table with Joshua Hoover and Hauss Hejny.

Columbus 2025 RB Grayson Rigdon: The DCTF three-star and Wyoming signee captured his fourth state title ring. There was some talk about his commitment status to Wyoming in the press box because of a deleted tweet, but after the game Rigdon said that all was good on his commitment status and he has accepted a scholarship to play football for the Cowboys and has plans to walk-on to the basketball team.

Columbus 2025 DE John Schobel: Schobel had one of the day's most eye-opening performances. He was constantly terrorizing Malakoff QB Mike Jones and sacked him three times. Schobel has the frame to add weight and move to defensive end at the next level, but his 190+ tackles as a senior shows his abilities in pursuit.

Columbus featured a pair of sophomores who commanded attention in WR Braylon Fisher and OT Keyon Hemphill-Woods. Both of these prospects have clear FBS talent and are the future of the program.
