DeSoto 2027 WR Ethan "Boobie" Feaster has had one of the most memorable freshman seasons in the history of Texas high school football, and it just got better.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound phenom is now the youngest player to earn a five-star rating in DCTF's prospect rankings

Before putting on the pads for his first varsity game, Feaster had already collected over 25 scholarship offers. Now, he boasts over 45 offers, including Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, and USC.

He's backed up his impressive recruitment with on-the-field production, becoming the first-ever freshman wide receiver to start for Claude Mathis at DeSoto.

Feaster, who picked up his first P4-level offer from TCU as an eighth grader in 2022, made his varsity debut during last year's 7-on-7 season and then went on to help lead the Eagles to their second consecutive 6A Division II crown, collecting 634 receiving yards and nine touchdowns to earn 11-6A District Newcomer of the Year honors.

"He comes to practice and works hard every day," Mathis said following Feaster's first varsity game in a 39-7 win over Allen. "A very smart and skillful player. (He) uses his size very well with great speed."

His accolades are piling up: Freshman All-American, a state title ring, and an invitation to the All-American Bowl – a rare honor for a freshman.

Now, he's the youngest player to ever earn a DCTF five-star ranking.
