After seven years serving as Prosper's offensive coordinator, Tyler Moore got the head job ahead of the 2023 season and turned in an 11–2 campaign. The Eagles have a case for the state's most highly touted offensive line, but there are plenty intriguing prospects on the skill positions and defense.

Here's an early rundown of the names to know for Prosper's 2024 season.

Headline Grabbers on the Offensive Line

Name: Connor Carty | Class: 2025  | Pos: OG | Ht: 6'4 | Wt: 285

Carty is Prosper's top recruit for the 2025 class as of right now. He's the No.4-ranked offensive guard in the DCTF Hot 100 and just scheduled official visits with Texas A&M on June 6-8 and Texas Tech on June 14-16. Carty is hyper-athletic for an interior offensive lineman and was a first-team all-district selection as a junior. Out of the five FBS prospects on Prosper's offensive line, Carty is the tone setter with his freakish talent and senior leadership.

Name: Logan Cahill | Class: 2025  | Pos: OG | Ht: 6'5 | Wt: 293

A former soccer goalie on Michigan's youth international team, Cahill asks Prosper offensive line coach Brian Thompson intelligent questions and keeps a notebook on every defensive lineman he's faced. Thompson cites current Texas center Jake Majors as the smartest offensive lineman he's coached, but says Cahill is approaching that territory. The rising senior has offers from Duke, Lamar and Pitt, with more to come this spring.

Name: Zaden Krempin | Class: 2026  | Pos: OT | Ht: 6'4 | Wt: 255

Krempin might be the hottest recruit at Prosper this offseason, reeling in 24 total offers ahead of his junior season. He describes his latest scholarship to Tennessee as a "wow" offer. The 6-foot-4 tackle is intentional about adding weight to his frame, meal prepping on the vertical diet of red meat and white rice and eating five to six times a day. Coaches describe him as the nicest kid off the field and the meanest guy on it, chuckling about a couple scraps he incited in spring ball. 

Name: Sean Stover | Class: 2026  | Pos: OG/C | Ht: 6'3 | Wt: 280

I was most impressed with Stover's display watching Prosper's competition day. Stover was consistently winning mat drill races, showing excellent change of direction and motor. Prosper head coach Brian Thompson describes the rising junior as one of the best leaders they have, which is why they're testing him out at center in spring ball to replace North Texas signee Tyler Mercer.

Name: Bryce Gilmore | Class: 2026  | Pos: OT | Ht: 6'4 | Wt: 275

Gilmore is such an intriguing recruit because he's compiling Division I offers (North Texas, Texas Tech, UTSA, Duke, Purdue, Oregon, Toledo) after playing his sophomore season on the JV team. While he was talented enough for varsity ball in 2023, the coaches decided to have him start at the sub-varsity level becuase it was only his second year playing football. Gilmore was a select basketball player up until high school. Gilmore is the son of former NFL wide receiver Bryan Gilmore.

Don't Sleep on Offensive Skill Positions

Name: Leo Anguiano | Class: 2025  | Pos: RB | Ht: 5'5 | Wt: 160

Good luck finding the 5-foot-5 Anguiano darting behind Prosper's massive offensive line. Then, once he's even - he's leaving. Anguiano hit 22.45 miles per hour on a laser burst time this offseason, and that speed shows up on tape. He gashed McKinney's star-studded defense for 164 yards and two touchdowns in the final game of the regular season.

Name: Lathon Latiolais | Class: 2026  | Pos: WR | Ht: 5'10 | Wt: 160  

Latiolais reminds me of former Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley when I watch his tape. The sophomore was a first-team all-district selection because he's a dangerous YAC threat and so versatile in his route tree from the slot. He also displays great improvisational skills when his quarterback is forced to scramble. Latiolais had 36 receptions for 650 yards and six touchdowns.

Name: Landon Walker | Class: 2027  | Pos: QB | Ht: 6'4 | Wt: 170

Walker is currently pitching as a freshman on Prosper's varsity baseball team with a fastball sitting in the mid 80s, but he could have a future on the gridiron as well. The 6-foot-4 signal caller flashed enormous potential on Prosper's freshman team with plus-arm strength. The coaches love 2026 quarterback Braeden Imhoff as well, who played on the varsity as a sophomore and provides similar dual-threat ability to graduating senior Nathan TenBarge. Imhoff and Walker provide a bright future for the Prosper QB room.

Defensive Standouts

Name: Cade Smallwood | Class: 2026  | Pos: LB | Ht: 6'2 | Wt: 205

Smallwood was the district's Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore and possesses a college frame at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds. He flashes excellent play recognition on film and flies downhill from the snap of the ball. Smallwood is also a standout baseball player switching between outfield and first base.

Name: Tyson Stiggers | Class: 2026  | Pos: CB | Ht: 5'11 | Wt: 158

Stiggers got called up from the JV in Week Six and turned in a second-team all-district selection. He has great game speed on film, evidenced by his 60-yard pick six against McKinney Boyd and a chase-down tackle from the opposite side of the field to prevent a touchdown against Denton Braswell. He took an unofficial visit to Rice in November 2023.

Name: Jake Johnson | Class: 2026  | Pos: DL | Ht: 6'3 | Wt: 275

Johnson was originally an offensive linemen with Bryce Gilmore, Zaden Krempin and Sean Stover on Prosper's freshman team but switched over to the defensive side once he got to Varsity ball as a sophomore. He's a physical specimen and was competing neck-in-neck with Stover at the front of mat races during Prosper's competition day. Johnson also competes in the 275-pound weight class for Prosper powerlifitng and totaled 1,375 pounds on his squat, bench and deadlift.

Name: Jayden Beasley | Class: 2025  | Pos: EDGE/H-Back | Ht: 6'3 | Wt: 193

After working last year as a wide receiver and tight end, Prosper is rotating Beasley in as an edge defender and H-Back through spring ball. Beasley displayed an explosive vertical leap during the Eagles' Competition Day. He has the 6-foot-3 frame to excel either as an outside backer or pass rusher, so it'll be interesting to see where he winds up fitting in during the 2024 regular season.
