Hitchcock 2025 QB Lloyd Jones (6'3, 200) committed to Texas Tech over offers from North Texas, Texas State, UTSA and Colorado State.
"I love the way their offense is, and when I was down there, it just felt like home," Jones explained.
Jones credits Texas Tech Senior Offensive Analyst Kirk Bryant and Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks Coach Zach Kittley for running point and building solid relationships in his recruitment.
Jones has led Hitchcock to a 9-1 record in 2023. As a sophomore in 2022, he completed 160-of-258 passes for 2,836 yards and 36 touchdowns while only throwing one interception.
