Duncanville 2025 S Tyren Polley (5'10, 180) was a big part of the Panthers' state title run in 2022.
"It was a good feeling, man," Polley said. "I definitely want to go through it again. Just all the hard work that we put in, it finally paid off. It was a good feeling, truly."
On the field, Polley is a hard-hitting safety with the lockdown abilities of a cornerback.
"I just have that mindset that I can play with anybody," Polley said. "Be physical. Even though you are young you got to have that mindset that you are a big dog."
"I think I bring physicality. I'm smart. I can cover. I can play anywhere."
Arkansas, Baylor, Indiana, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, SMU and TCU are the first programs to offer Polley.
"I am blessed to have nine offers," Polley said. "Texas has got to be No. 10!"
"Indiana was cool; my first D1 offer. Indiana gonna forever be that first one."
"LSU," Polley continued as he recalled big offer moments. "As a kid I always liked LSU. That has always been my favorite college, so when they offered that was real special."
"I really mess with TCU. They just went to the National Championship. They are close (to home)."
"Arkansas has got to be in there for sure. I loved Arkansas. I just took a visit there. It was cool. I love their facilities, their weight room, and their culture. I just love their vibe down there."
