Lake Belton WR Micah Hudson (6'0, 190) has been named the No. 1 prospect in the 2024 DCTF Hot 100 and is the first player to earn five-star status in the cycle.

Hudson has 26 scholarship offers with schools like Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Penn State on board.

Hudson is a prospect who brings it on and off of the field.

"He is electric with the ball in his hands," Lake Belton head coach Brian Cope said of Hudson's talent. "He is very, very fast. But the one thing that stands out to me is that he probably has the most incredible ball skills that I have ever seen."

"He is also an outstanding young man. He has a high character. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to coach him. He is one of our top workers too, which makes coaching him a whole lot of fun."

Hudson had 466 receiving yards, 655 rushing yards and scored 12 touchdowns as a freshman in 2020. In 2021, he collected 45 receptions for 851 yards and nine touchdowns.

On Friday, Hudson racked up 225 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 47-21 win over Leander Rouse.
