Austin Westlake 2027 OL Jackson Cook has committed to the Texas Longhorns.

"The pride and winning tradition of the Texas Longhorns will not be entrusted to the weak nor the timid," Cook said. "I’m excited to be a part of the brotherhood on the 40 acres!"

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman made the call after a strong offseason that saw his recruitment take off, highlighted by an offer from Texas and Texas A&M.

Cook earned OL MVP honors at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase and followed it up with solid performances at the Under Armour Next Camp and Rivals Camp, helping solidify his status as a national-caliber prospect.

After a transfer from Lago Vista, Cook broke out during his junior season at Westlake, totaling 72 pancake blocks while developing under head coach Tony Salazar and offensive line coach John Rosch.

Cook has collected more than 20 scholarship offers during his recruitment, with SMU, Arkansas and Duke among those heavily involved.
