Elite 11
The Elite 11 regional camp stops in Texas each year, identifying and qualifying top quarterback talent for the prestigious Elite 11 Finals. Texas QBs have a strong track record, with standouts like Jackson Arnold (2022) and Keelon Russell (2024) most recently earning MVP honors.
QB MVP - Keisean Henderson - Houston Legacy School of Sports Sciences: Henderson cashed his ticket to the Elite 11 Finals. His arm strength stood out in a field full of top talent, proving he belongs among the best. Factor in his elite athleticism, and it’s easy to see why he’s so special. He remains solidly committed to Houston, a huge win for UH fans.
2026 QB Quinn Murphy - Argyle Liberty Christian: Despite windy conditions, Murphy showed the arm strength to drive the ball where it needed to be. He spun it cleanly, displayed consistent footwork, and was the most accurate passer during one-on-ones. The Baylor commit looked sharp.
2026 QB Jake Fette - El Paso Del Valle: With a quick trigger and a unique arm slot, Fette’s ball cut through the wind effortlessly, hitting elite-level spots. His distinct playstyle sets him apart, making him a key pickup for Arizona State.
2026 ATH Legend Bey - North Forney: Bey had a strong day throwing the ball, showcasing a quick release and impressive arm pop. He also took reps at receiver, going 3-for-3 in the reps I saw, including one of the day’s best routes. With top colleges recruiting him at multiple positions, his combination of arm talent and athleticism makes him unique.
All 22
The All 22, held in conjunction with the Elite 11 camp, offers testing and one-on-one drills across all position groups (RB, WR/TE, OL, DL, LB, DB).
OL MVP - 2026 OL Jerald Mays - Pflugerville Weiss: Mays dominated one-on-ones, showcasing smooth technique in drills and impressing at center. Colleges like Texas Tech, SMU and Stanford are recruiting him across the offensive front.
DL MVP - 2027 DE DJ Rumph - DeSoto: The Milton (Ga.) transfer is emerging as one of the state’s top edge rushers, earning offers from SMU, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Michigan and more.
LB MVP - 2027 LB Marquis Murry - Austin LBJ: If Murry isn’t on your radar yet, it’s time to change that. The elite multi-sport athlete is primed for a recruiting surge, with North Texas already on board.
RB MVP - 2027 RB Lathan Whisenton - Waco Midway: A big, strong running back with the ability to make defenders miss. He already has a double-digit offer list with Baylor making early waves.
WR MVP 2027 WR Aden Starling - Shadow Creek: Another Houston commit who shined in one-on-ones, dominating defensive backs without losing a rep (that I personally witnessed). He’s poised to make a big impact in Shadow Creek’s offense.
2027 DB Davontrae Kirkland - Waco Unversity: The DB MVP went to an out-of-state player, but Kirkland had the strongest day among TXHSFB DBs, in my opinion, and he quickly passed the eye test.
2026 WR Michael Brown - Houston Legacy School of Sports Sciences: Brown is an elite route runner with a tremendously high football IQ. It sometimes does not look fair for how much separation he gets. His recruitment is heating up between Houston, Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama and more.
