2026 QB Kyden Barker (6'1, 205) is back at Clear Falls. The signal-caller played his freshman season with the Knights before spending two years at Galveston Ball, where he developed into one of the top stat-producing quarterbacks in Texas.

Barker led Galveston Ball to a 9-3 record in 5A Division I last season, throwing for 2,526 yards and 32 touchdowns. His breakout sophomore campaign saw him pass for 2,062 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Clear Falls, which finished 6-5 and reached the playoffs in 2024 under senior QB Jake Champagne, now welcomes back a proven playmaker under center.

A DCTF three-star prospect, Barker holds offers from North Texas, Sam Houston, Texas State, UTEP, Colorado State, Southern Miss, Tulane and UNLV. His return to 24-6A adds another dynamic talent to one of the state’s most competitive districts.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, all transfers are subject to UIL review for varsity athletics participation.
