Top 10 Recruits in the 2024 TXHSFB State Championships

These are the Top 10 highest-rated recruits playing in the 2024 UIL Football State Championships.

1 - 2027 RB Landen Williams-Callis - Richmond Randle: This talented sophomore running back is already ranked a four-star prospect and boasts over 35 offers, including Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon and more. 

2- 2026 OL John Turntine III - North Crowley: He is the No. 1 overall prospect in the state per the 247Sports Composite and has already attained a five-star ranking and over 35 scholarship offers from coast-to-coast.

3 - 2026 RB KJ Edwards - Carthage: A lightning bolt on the field, Edwards has already secured over 25 offers and a four-star rating from every rankings service.

4 - 2027 OL Brian Swanson - South Oak Cliff: The four-star is trending up as one of the top OLs in the nation following a dominant season that brought in new offers from Oregon, Tennessee and Oklahoma, joining Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M and more. 

5 - 2025 QB Adam Schobel - Columbus: The state's No. 2 rated QB has already scored over 65 touchdowns this season! The DCTF four-star is signed with TCU, where his father and Columbus HC Matt Schobel played.

6 - 2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan - South Oak Cliff: The four-star is the highest-rated defensive line prospect to sign with the Baylor Bears since Andrew Billings in the Class of 2013. 

7 - 2025 S Jayden Sanders - Kilgore: The Michigan signee and DCTF four-star is a super athletic two-way, multi-sport athlete who will star in the secondary once he arrives in Ann Arbor.

8 - 2026 QB Bowe Bentley - Celina: The Bobcats are hitting on all cylinders thanks to the emergence of this gunslinger, who was recently elevated to four-star status by 247Sports. 

9 - 2025 Jack Van Dorselaer - Southlake Carroll: The No. 2 TE in the state signed with Tennessee but has played mostly at defensive end this season, where he has been dominant. 

10 - 2026 LB Daquives Beck - Carthage: Beck brings to mind Oklahoma linebacker Kip Lewis, not only for his Carthage roots but also his similar build and playing style.
