Don't miss our discussion on Texas Football Today, where I break down this notebook in more depth with Greg Tepper and Ashley Pickle.

Prospect on the Rise - McKinney North 2025 RB Greg Ard

The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder was rewarded for a tremendous senior season with offers from Boise State and Tulsa. Ard rushed for 1,747 yards and 22 touchdowns to break onto the D1 radar.

Commit of the Week - Denton Guyer 2025 QB Kevin Sperry

The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to Florida State. Sperry is rated as DCTF three-star prospect and helped lead the Wildcats to the third round of the TXHSFB playoffs with a 45-28 win over Richardson Pearce.

Underclassman of the Week - Richardson 2026 DT Jai'meon Winfield

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder is the newest DCTF four-star and picked up an offer from Texas A&M this week. The Aggies join schools like Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, USC and more on his early offer count.
