Fort Bend Hightower (8-0, 5-0) vs Fort Bend Ridge Point (7-1, 5-0):

Once again the district title in the Fort Bend ISD 6A district comes down to the Tollway Cup rivalry as Ridge Point puts its 34-game district winning streak on the line against unbeaten Hightower. The stakes are high as both teams come into this contest state ranked.

Hightower rolled past Fort Bend Austin last week on the strength of QB Camben Emanuel, who had three touchdown passes to speedy slot WR Dontreal Fisher. The Hurricanes have a pair of capable backs in Austin Bowen and LaDamoin McDowell. On defense, LSU CB Kade Phillips is the headliner for a unit that is among the fastest in the state.

Ridge Point had an easy time themselves last week as they blasted Fort Bend Clements, 77-0, behind four touchdown passes from Houston QB commit Austin Carlisle and two kick return touchdowns from Landrew Ward.

If there’s one team that can go athlete-for-athlete with Ridge Point in FBISD it is without question Hightower, but Ridge Point’s had their number of late and RPHS has the elite QB in Carlisle.
