Midlothian 2025 OL Nelson McGuire (6'4, 320) has officially committed to Texas A&M after attending the Aggies’ 41-10 victory over Missouri in College Station. McGuire, a true powerhouse up front, has been one of the hottest prospects in Texas since transitioning to the offensive line ahead of his senior season.

His commitment comes as no surprise after reposting the “In Elko We Trust” chant from TE Kiotti Armstrong during the game.

Since making the move to the offensive line, McGuire has seen his recruitment explode, picking up new offers from Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Clemson, and Texas A&M. The Aggies extended their offer just a few weeks ago, and they quickly surged to the top of his list.

Previously committed to Minnesota, McGuire also visited schools like Clemson, Texas Tech, Auburn, and Vanderbilt before locking in his decision with Texas A&M. According to Midlothian head coach Doug Wendel, McGuire is still relatively new to the game, entering just his second year of football. Despite his inexperience, his natural talent and imposing size have made him a force on the field.

“He’s blessed with tremendous talent and size,” Wendel reported.

Update (10/16): 247Sports named McGuire a four-star prospect.
