Is Mansfield Home to a Future Five-Star in 2026?

2026 OT Felix Ojo (6'6, 285) - Mansfield Lake Ridge: One of the top players in the state in the 2026 cycle, Ojo played tremendously well in defeat. He has long arms, a tremendous frame and plays well in space. Ojo will compete to be one of the five highest-rated prospects in the state in 2026 and already has received 41 offers, including Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M and more.

2026 WR Zion Robinson (6'3, 180) - Mansfield: A dynamic field-stretcher, Robinson consistently blew past defensive backs and created separation throughout the game, a testament to his track background, which includes a state high jump title and 10.91 speed. Robinson is poised to become one of the state's top-rated prospects with a double-digit offer list featuring Michigan, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and more.

Lovejoy's Gem at WR

2025 WR Daylan McCutcheon (6'0, 175) - Melissa: McCutcheon is a true go-to receiver, displaying an advanced route tree in Lovejoy's 41-38 victory over Melissa. The DCTF four-star hauled in 10 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown, stepping up in clutch moments. A well-rounded prospect, McCutcheon excels at the details and projects as an early impact player at the next level.

Brother of Baylor Commit Steps Into Spotlight

2028 TE Sloan Blackwell (6'4, 210) - Lorena: Blackwell, the younger brother of Baylor commit Jackson Blackwell played mostly in-line TE for Lorena and showed he is a formidable weapon running the seam and blocking at the point of attack. He showed soft hands and above-average athleticism for a player still maturing. Blackwell split out wide a bit as well. His future at the college level may be on the defensive line, where he could create mismatches with his frame and wingspan. - Matt Stepp

Tyler Legacy's Next Big Thing

2027 OL Demarion Brown-Johnson (6'7, 300) Tyler Legacy: Brown-Johnson already has the size and frame to excel at the next level. He moves well, with quick feet and flexibility, and has the potential to add even more strength. While he's still growing into his body, his power is undeniable—when he locks onto a defender, they're going where he wants. Undoubtedly, he'll be one of the top national offensive line recruits in the Class of 2027. - Matt Stepp
