Columbus ATH Grayson Rigdon (2025): This move was huge on multiple fronts as the Air Force commitment won three six-man state championships before moving up to play the 11-man game this season, so this was a needle mover that resonates in both classifications.

Denton Guyer - QB Kevin Sperry (2025): The Oklahoma Sooners commitment is back in Texas (Sperry played at Prosper Rock Hill as a sophomore) after winning a state championship at Carl Albert in Okla. As a junior in 2023, Sperry completed 131 of 191 passes for 2,564 yards and 31 touchdowns.

DeSoto - QB Kelden Ryan (2025): Ryan is the favorite to take over for DJ Bailey, who led the Eagles to back-to-back 6A Division II state championships before moving on to Sam Houston. Ryan, who is committed to Virginia Tech, is more of an athlete at the position so it could be a completely different look under center for the Eagles.

Duncanville - WR Trenton Yancey (2027): The Duncanville offense is loaded with stars, but this move is significant for this season and beyond, as Yancey is one of the top talents nationally, regardless of classification or position. He's already collected over 30+ offers, including Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC and more.

Forney - QB Nelson Peterson (2026): The younger brother of Adrian Peterson is already a highly touted prospect with offers from Texas Tech and Ole Miss. Of course, Oklahoma is also recruiting him, but the Sooners have yet to offer. Peterson moved to Forney from Sunnyvale.

Frisco Panther Creek - WR Jalen Lott (2026): Boasting 35 offers, the four-star is already one of the most offered prospects in the state. Lott gave us a glimpse of what he will be bringing to the table at the state 7-on-7 tournament where he captured 2024 All-State 7-on-7 honors.

North Shore - WR Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. (2025): The four-star Colorado commitment gives star QB Kaleb Bailey an elite target who can stretch the field but can also pick up yards after the catch.

Palestine Westwood - RB Jon Denman (2025): One of the biggest transfers, because Denamn's addition to the Palestine Westwood offense makes them a serious contender for the 3A Division I state title. The DCTF three-star is committed to TCU.

Richmond Randle - LB Noriel Dominguez (2026): This transfer slid somewhat under the radar, but Dominguez is a defensive game-changer who racked up 92 tackles and 12 TFLs as a sophomore in 2023 at Fort Bend Marshall. Will his arrival tip the scales in Randle's favor in the highly competitive 9-5A Division II race?

South Oak Cliff - DE Kamauryn Morgan (2025): The four-star Baylor commitment is one of the state's best edge rushers who secured MVP honors at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Dallas a sophomore.
