Every Texas high school football team shares the same dream — to win a state championship. But before teams can even consider playoff glory, they have to navigate the regular season.

Perfect regular seasons are relatively rare: fewer than 5 percent of Texas high school football teams accomplished an undefeated regular season in 2023 (just 70 our of 1,501 teams). And to be clear, making it through the regular season unscathed is no guarantee of playoff success — just ten teams finished a true perfect season, winning a state championship without a loss. And on the flip side, finishing with a loss is no guarantee of playoff failure — of the 19 UIL and TAPPS state champions in 2023, nine of them finished with at least one loss.

So, who could pull off perfection in 2024?

Thanks to our friend and partner Jerry Forrest at PigskinPrep.com, we're able to allow the computer to project out every single Texas high school football game based on our preseason computer rankings (which, by the way, you can find every team's schedule on their dedicated team pages on TexasFootball.com). And when you use the preseason computer projections to predict every game, you end up with 84 teams that are projected to finish the regular season undefeated.

Who are they? We'll break them down by classification, including their overall record from last season.
