Sources have confirmed that the state's No. 7-rated RB Jon Denman (5'10, 195) has moved to Palestine Westwood, where he will play his senior season.

Last year at Palestine, Denman rushed for 871 yards and 14 touchdowns to earn 9-4A Division I Utility Player of the Year honors.

Denman also qualified for the UIL state track meet, helping Palestine win silver in the 4x200.

Palestine Westwood finished with a 9-3 record in 2023 and will pair Denman with 2027 QB Kavian Bryant and versatile 2026 RB/DB David Russell.

In recruiting, Denman boasts 20+ scholarship offers. He has taken official visits to see Houston and Michigan State and has Arizona (6/21) on deck.
