Duncanville 2025 WR Dakorien Moore (5'11, 185) announced his decommitment from LSU on Thursday evening.
"After careful and extensive consideration, my family and I have decided that it is in my best interest to decommit from LSU," Moore posted.
Moore, who is rated as the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 DCTF Rising Hot 100, has been committed to LSU since August of 2023.
We are now watching three schools closely in his recruitment at this point in time.
1. Texas: The Longhorns have been a constant presence on his list and he has made multiple trips to Austin to visit with the Texas staff since his commitment to LSU. We expect him to make a return trip to Austin for an official visit soon. UT signed two players from Duncanville in the 2024 cycle: DE Colin Simmons and DT Alex January.
2. Ohio State: Moore very recently took an unofficial visit to see Ohio State, and the buzz in Columbus is strong that he is set to make a return trip for an official visit. The Buckeyes are among the best in the country at securing top-tier talent at the wide receiver position and developing them for the NFL under the direction of Brian Hartline.
3. Oregon: This was one of the first schools that Moore visited, and they have been in the picture since the beginning of his recruitment. Getting him back into Eugene is key for their chances.
As a junior, Moore collected 71 receptions for 1,523 yards and 18 touchdowns to lead Duncanville to the 6A Division I state title.
