The deck shuffling on the Texas A&M roster for first-year head coach Mike Elko continued Wednesday when former starting center Bryce Foster’s name appeared in the transfer portal. Foster, a former five-star recruit from Katy Taylor, was a 2021 SEC All-Freshman Team member after starting 12 games in his first year in college.

Foster never took the next step in his career at Texas A&M, which included throwing the shot and discus for the Aggie track and field team. A season-ending injury cost him the last eight games of the 2022 season and a separate injury cost him five games of the 2023 season. The Aggies recently added Utah transfer Koli Faaiu, who is expected to replace Foster as the starting center.
