Texas Tech sophomore wide receiver Jerand Bradley announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Friday. Mike Roach at 247Sports was the first to report.
Bradley broke out as a redshirt freshman in 2022 when he led the Red Raiders with 51 receptions for 744 yards and six touchdowns. He was placed on the preseason All-Big 12 team and the Biletnikoff Award preseason watchlist ahead of the 2023 season, but his numbers took a step back. The 6-foot-5-inch outside receiver finished with 36 receptions for 431 yards and four touchdowns, and failed to record a 100-yard game. He caught either one or zero passes in five of the team's 12 games.
Texas Tech rotated through three different starting quarterbacks for the second-consecutive season, which partially explains Bradley's production dip. Bradley now joins Myles Price as the second wide receiver entering the transfer portal, and should have serious Power Five buzz based off his size and big-play ability. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
