Texas State will announce a new NIL deal with First Lockhart National Bank in San Marcos Wednesday afternoon.
The deal is set to be the program's largest and will be Texas State's first multi-sport partnership with multiple player reps from football, men's basketball, soccer and volleyball set to be in attendance for the launch. The launch is scheduled to be on-location at First Lockhart National Bank in San Marcos at 2:30 p.m.
TexasFootball.com was told that players would work in conjuction of promoting First Lockhart National Bank utilizing their ties to the athletics program and that the establishment hopes to work with as many athletes as possible.
Update: The deal is believed to also be one of the first bank partnerships in Central Texas with an NIL Collective.
The deal is being done through the Victory Star and TheLinkU. The partnership will include signings, social media campaigns and video shoots and/or commercial.
