Umeozulu picked up 30 scholarship offers throughout his recruitment and took official visits to Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
The four-star prospect is rated as the No. 4 DE and the No. 19 prospect overall in the 2024 DCTF Rising Hot 100.
Umeozulu was selected to the 2023 Preseason DCTF Whataburger Super Team after collecting 43 tackles, five TFLs, and three sacks as a junior in 2022.
Umeozulu is the younger brother of Texas offensive lineman Neto Umeozulu, who signed with the Longhorns in the Class of 2022.
