The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Texas Tech commit was named to the 2A DCTF Preseason All-State Team. Williams is the No. 54 prospect in the 2024 DCTF Rising Hot 100.
Top Underclassman: 2026 ATH Ryelan Morris (Honey Grove)
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound athlete is already receiving abundant recruiting attention and has secured early offers from North Texas, SMU, Texas Tech, Michigan State and UNLV. Morris had a breakout freshman season, earning District Offensive Player of the Year honors and racking up over 2,000 yards and scoring 27 touchdowns.
MVP: 2024 ATH Terry Bussey (Timpson)
The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder was selected as Mr. Texas Football following a dominant showing in 2022. The No. 5 prospect in the state accounted for 4,773 yards of total offense and 80 total touchdowns throughout the season, guiding Timpson to the 2A Division I state semifinals. Bussey is set to announce his commitment on Sept. 28 between Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma.
