Texas State running back Lincoln Pare will very likely miss the entire 2023 season with a torn ACL, Texas Football has confirmed.

Keff Ciardello with the Austin American-Statesman was first to report.

Pare was Texas State’s leading rusher during the 2022 season rushing for 772 yards and six touchdowns. The former Arkansas State transfer was expected to play a pivotal role alongside returner Calvin Hill during GJ KInne’s first season in San Marcos. He was recently named an All-Sun Belt Preseason Fourth Team player by Athlon Sports.
