Lindale 2024 OL Casey Poe (6'5, 290) has committed to Alabama over offers from Texas Tech, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Oklahoma.
"Throughout my entire life, I have watched Alabama," Poe said. "I have been a fan since I was young, and I have gotten to watch where Coach (Nick) Saban has taken this program."
"Through it all his (Saban's) leadership and his ability to coach guys and get them into the best possible position they can possibly be in and just being able to see that my entire life, being able to talk to him and build a relationship with him and really get to know his thought processes on things -- that as a thing I just could not walk away from."
Poe is rated as the No. 1 OG and the No. 17 prospect overall in the 2024 DCTF Rising Hot 100.
