Aldine ISD has a second job opening at their four high schools this off-season as Aldine Davis head coach Scott Joseph resigned his post after four seasons leading the Falcons.
Coach Joseph told Dave Campbell’s Texas Football it was simply time for a change and that he had been contemplating this move since the season ended, “I initially resigned right at the end of the season and today was my last official day with Aldine ISD,” said Joseph. “The kids and people here are great, but it was simply time for a different voice.”
The Falcons who had a run as the most successful team in in Aldine ISD from 2014-2018 when they made five straight playoff appearances has had their share of struggles the past four seasons, posting a 12-25 overall record.
Along with Aldine Eisenhower being open the athletic administration in Aldine ISD will be busy with filling these two vacancies along with managing a major rebuilding project at Thorne Stadium as the old stadium has been demolished and a new Thorne Stadium is set to re-open in August of 2024.
