TCU ranked seventh in initial College Football Playoff Top 25

TCU debuted in the first College Football Playoff Top 25 as seventh in the nation. The Horned Frogs are 8-0 in Sonny Dykes’ first season in charge. TCU beat West Virginia on the road in Week 9 and host Texas Tech in Week 10 before closing with Texas, Baylor, and Iowa State. The top six are Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, and Alabama. The Crimson Tide have one loss. 

Texas was also ranked as the 5-3 Longhorns checked in at No. 24. They play Kansas State and TCU over the next two weeks. Steve Sarkisian's program lost to Alabama, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State.
