West Orange-Stark 2023 S Jamaal Shaw (6'2, 185) committed to Houston over offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and UTSA.

Shaw is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect, checking in as the No. 90 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.
Scouting Report: Is a defensive back with the perfect blend of athleticism, length, and playmaking skills, so it is no wonder almost every school in the state was chasing his signature. For a taller defensive back, Shaw is able to get in and out of his breaks quickly and shows a cornerback's skill set despite the fact he has the perfect frame to play safety. His experience and athleticism playing running back early in his varsity career speak to his overall athleticism and upside.
