Former Rice wide receiver Jake Bailey announced on Twitter that he'll attend SMU for the 2022 football season.

Bailey's loss was a big blow for the Owls. Bailey led Rice in every major receiving category during the 2021 season, catching 56 passes for 714 yards and two touchdowns.

He'll be a shot in the arm for SMU's passing attack that lost Danny Grey and Reggie Roberson Jr. to the NFL Draft.
