Prospect on the Rise

Frisco Lone State 2023 DB Bruce "Batman" Mitchell (6'1, 180) picked up his first P5 offer from Indiana and took an unofficial visit to Kansas State.

Mitchell also has SMU, Buffalo, Illinois State, Jackson State, Liberty, and Northern Arizona offers. 

Mitchell, who plans to make his commitment on July 26, was one of the standouts at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.  

Commit of the Week

Hebron 2023 DE Carson Dean (6'4, 235) committed to Arkansas over offers from Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, LSU and more. 

The DCTF three-star racked up 68 tackles, eight sacks and 15 tackles for a loss to earn all-district honors as a junior. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Dean has made plays at tight end, defensive end, and linebacker for Hebron, but his twitchiness off the edge has drawn the most attention. His quick first step and ability to bend the corner make him a disruptive force.

Underclassmen of the Week

Recruiting fans definitely to need to familiarize the name of South Oak Cliff 2025 LB Kelvion Riggins (6'1, 200).  

Riggins is one of the most physically impressive young prospects in the nation and may remind many of former Alabama standout Dylan Moses. 

Riggins has already earned early offers from a handful of programs: SMU, Arizona, Arkansas, Miami (FL) and Oklahoma State.  

Recruit of the Week

Cypress Bridgeland 2023 TE Reid Mikeska (6'6, 230) has become one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the nation. 

This week he picked up new offers from Clemson, Florida State and Miami (FL) to bring his offer tally to 36. 

Mikeska also owns offers from Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech, Auburn, Kansas State, Missouri, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Utah and many more.
