MONTGOMERY, TX – Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is proud to announce the Montgomery Bears as the recipient of the Community Connection School of the Year Award presented by Suddenlink.
For the second consecutive year, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Suddenlink, the local provider of internet, TV, home and mobile phone service, have partnered together to spotlight 15 Texas high school football communities with the Community Connection School of the Week Award. As a part of the recognition, longtime Montgomery resident, Lori Polan, was recognized for her service to the Montgomery community on a special Zoom call and was presented with the Community Connector Award presented by Suddenlink at Montgomery’s 2021 fall home game versus Bryan Rudder. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Suddenlink also produced a commemorative digital custom magazine spotlighting the Montgomery community.

For the past seven weeks, fans and passionate community members from all fifteen towns cast just under 300,000 votes on TexasFootball.com in efforts to help lift their school to the top. As a part of the recognition, Montgomery High School will receive a $2,500 donation to support their school.
