TCU running back Darwin Barlow has entered the transfer portal after two years with the Horned Frogs program.

Barlow led at Horned Frog running backs with 73 carries for 428 yards and four touchdowns in a strong sophomore season. He rushed 16 times for 117 carries and a touchdown in a breakout performance against rival Baylor.

The 2019 recruit from Newton has up to four years of eligibility remaining after redshirting his first season on campus.

Barlow came to TCU after a legendary career at Newton. He rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns while leading Newton to back-to-back Class 3A Division II state championship game titles. Barlow was named Offensive MVP of the game.

He picked TCU over USC, LSU, Arkansas, Baylor and Oklahoma State.
