The graduate transfer from Howard gained 215 all-purpose yards last Saturday to lead the Bearkats to a 62-7 road win over Lamar.
Ezzard scored three touchdowns while only touching the ball six times against the Cardinals. He had 130 yards, two touchdowns receiving and returned a punt 80-yards for a touchdown early in the second quarter.
The College Park, Ga. native, leads the Kats with 366 yards receiving on 10 receptions and five touchdowns for an incredible 36.6 average yards per reception.
Another player who has had a breakout season this spring is wide receiver Jake Parker from Howard Payne.
The Cisco College transfer was vital to the Yellow Jackets 24-3 victory over McMurry last Saturday.
Parker caught seven passes for 178 yards and a touchdown against the War Hawks. He opened the game with a 68-yard reception on the first play from scrimmage to set HPU up at the McMurry seven-yard line.
