Seminole ISD has named Pampa AD/HFC Greg Poynor as its next head football coach; Poynor will also assume athletic director duties at Seminole ISD.

He replaces Ty Palmer, who stepped down from his post in January after two seasons.

Poynor spent seven seasons at Pampa, where he posted a 45-34 overall record; his best season was a 9-3 mark in 2019. Poynor has a 72-69 overall record in 13 seasons as a head coach at Lubbock-Cooper and Pampa.
