Westlake went 8-0 and won the State 7-on-7 Tournament’s Division I championship this weekend. The Chaparrals secured the title with a 42-34 victory over Manvel on Saturday.

Westlake swept through pool play on Friday, and the Chaparrals scored 122 points over the first three rounds of Saturday’s Division I championship tournament. Westlake preceded its double-overtime game against Manvel with a 33-32 victory at rival Lake Travis’ expense.
