Good Evening,
I wanted to brag on our daughter (Senior 2020) - she is a proud Texas High School Football Coaches' kid ??
Lainee is a Senior at Canyon Lake High School (Comal ISD). She is #4 in her class of 220 with a 3.9 (106.2) GPA - she will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall and will be majoring in either Petroleum or Nuclear Engineering. She is a National Honor Society Officer (Secretary), a Because I Said I Would Chapter Leader, a member of the Chic-Fil-A Leadership Academy, and was selected for the Emerging Leaders Series.
Lainee was a 3-year letterman for the Varsity Volleyball Team winning Defensive MVP her Junior and Senior Years, as well as earning various other academic and athletic awards all 3 years as Defensive Specialist and Libero. She set the school's Single Season Dig Record in the last game of her career with 585 digs.
Lainee was a 4-year letterman for the Varsity Basketball Team. In her Sophomore year, the team made school history by winning the first ever program District Championship and making it to the Regional Quarter Finals. She was named Team Captain her Junior and Senior Years, broke the school's Season Assists Record her Junior Year, and then broke the school's Career Assists Record her Senior Year. She earned numerous district awards all 4 years.
Lainee was a 4-year letterman for the Varsity Track Team. In her Freshman year she was the District Silver Medalist (300 hurdles), qualified for Area in the 300 hurdles and the Sprint Relay, and was a Regional Bronze Medalist with her 4x100 Relay Team. In her Junior year, she and her 4x200 Relay Team were District Champions, set the school record, and were Regional Finalists.
Lainee was named the 2018-2019 Canyon Lake High School Female Athlete of the Year.
Although her Senior year and track season have been cut short, we are extremely proud of her hard work and dedication to athletics and academics, and look forward to her bright future.
Proud Parents, Coaches, & Teachers,
Troy & Kim Moses
