"Let me tell you a little bit about 'my Senior.' It all started 4 years ago. Paige came to MHS and lit the golf program on fire. We had experienced some success prior to Paige, but this girl has taken it to a level I never knew could happen. I can’t even begin to list all of her accomplishments. Multi year District champion, Regional champion, State runner up and part of the only team State championship in McGregor ISD history. She will be attending The Citadel to play golf and continue her academics. And she’s not just an awesome golfer...she’s an awesome student (top 10 percent), former Miss McGregor, PAL, works with our Life Skills students, part of the Rotary Club, and so much more.
"I hope our program has more golf to play if we do get a chance to go back to school. We all deserve it but Paige deserves it the most. But if we don’t, I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight 'my Senior.' I am beyond proud to have had the chance to coach Paige but more importantly become close with her and her family. The Citadel sure is getting a great young lady. Here’s to you, Champ!"
