Denton Ryan 2023 LB Anthony Hill (6'2, 210) dominated the sub-varsity completion as a freshman, and as a result, his coaches elevated him to varsity to finish out the 2019 season.
Now going into his sophomore season, Hill will not only have some experience, but he will also be one of the most well-known players in the country for the class of 2023.
Colleges are taking note, and he has already secured five scholarship offers.
"I'm thankful and grateful. I have offers from Penn State, Florida, Mississippi State and North Texas," Said Hill, who also added a recent offer from Kansas State.
"With all of these offers coming and coaches knowing me, I'm just trying to stay normal."
As much as he would like for that to be the case, it will take plenty of work to shield off the attention he will begin to see.
At the moment, Hill is excited that he knows that there will be plenty of opportunities going forward.
Hill admitted that he doesn't know a lot about these programs, but is excited to learn more as things progress.
Still, there is one program he'd like to land an offer from, one that finished on top of the college football world earlier this year.
"I don't have a favorite right now, but I would say that my dream offer would be LSU," Hill said. "I just know that the defense there is really nice. I know that I will stay working hard and try to learn from the guys above me every day."
Hill was named as one of the top 25 freshmen in the DCTF Rising magazine.
