After registering more than 265 tackles the past two seasons for Stephenville High School, senior safety Gage Graham wanted nothing more than to finish his career with his brothers and uphold the rich tradition that is Stephenville football. “My dad and uncle played here and the fans in this community are so fired up about the program that it’s special just to put the uniform on. I was proud to play there and really happy to be continuing my playing career at Abilene Christian University.”
Gage has countless memories of his time between the lines in Stephenville but his most fond memory is the quarterfinal game against Kennedale his junior season. “We lost the game but it was a special memory because it was the playoffs and it was on the floor of Cowboys Stadium. That was an awesome experience. We spent most of the time when we weren’t playing looking up at the giant video board. That place is amazing.”
Gage played free safety and receiver for Stephenville and said he’s honored to be named to the Whataburger Super Team. “It’s hard to put into words how honored I am to be named to a team that includes so many great players from around the state.”
Gage Graham’s Go-To Move at Whataburger: “That’s easy. I always go with the #5 bacon cheeseburger. Huge fan.”
