Ja'Tavion Sanders, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end from Denton Ryan is emerging in the Class of 2021.
Sanders shined bright in a 38-3 win over West Mesquite.
"I came out with like seven tackles and a sack," Sanders said. "I thank my coach for all he taught me."
"I am staying low like my coach told me, listening to him the whole time. He told me to stay low and shoot my hands, and that is what I did."
On the field, Sanders has a close connection to one of the best prospects to put on a Raiders jersey.
"I look up to my cousin Jarvis Moss," Sanders informed. "He went to the same school and played the same position, #6.
"He won a state championship here and went to the NFL and played for the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins. He went to Florida."
Sanders is just now arriving on the recruiting radar, but he has high aspirations on his college future.
"Any colleges that come after me," Sanders said when asked about his early college interests. "but I want Bama to come get me. Nick Saban is one of the greatest coaches in college history, and they work hard in their program."
Sanders has a connection to Florida and an early eye on Alabama, but he went to explain that he has an interest in all of the local programs as well.
LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas quickly jump to mind.
"All of them," Sanders said with a smile. "I like all the colleges."
