ATH Peyton Powell - Odessa Permian: Powell is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state, and he is closing in on a final decision in just under two weeks. Ohio State and Oklahoma seem to be out in front of TCU and Texas Tech.
OT Landon Peterson - Odessa Permian: The Baylor commit will have a tough match-up with the Carroll defensive front, but he has the size and strength to pass the test at 6-foot-6, 265 pounds.
LB Matt Jones - Odessa Permian: A tough, hard-nosed linebacker who committed to Baylor over offers from schools like Nevada, Illinois, and Texas Tech.
RB TJ McDaniel - Southlake Carroll: McDaniel comes from a line of high school stars, and he is hopeful to lead the Dragons to a state championship season. This defense will be a test. McDaniel is committed to SMU.
OT Henry Mossberg - Southlake Carroll: Mossberg has also made an early commitment to SMU. He helps anchor a talented offensive line and its success will dictate the outcome of this contest.
