How We Calculate District Strength: We take Texas high school football analytics expert Jerry Forrest's computer rating for each team over the past five years and come up with a five-year team rating. Then, we average the five-year team ratings of every school in each district. The higher the rating, the stronger the district. Note that new schools are not factored into the calculations.
