Quick Hitter: South Oak Cliff Star Reaffirms Baylor Pledge

Good news for the Baylor Bears as it relates to the highest-rated defensive prospect in the class South Oak Cliff DE Kamauryn Morgan.

It seems like a recruiting tidal wave happened after 2025. South Oak Cliff DE Kamauryn Morgan (6'4, 230) committed to Baylor back in July, and the four-star was highly coveted with 20+ scholarship offers.

Checking in at No. 36 in the DCTF Rising Hot 100, it is no surprise that other colleges continue to keep the heat turned up on his recruitment, but Morgan is trying to shut down rumors with his latest posting. 

"It’s definitely flip season…but I’m good," Morgan stated! "I appreciate all the coaches reaching out, but I’m 1000% committed to Baylor!"

As a junior, Morgan racked up 61 tackles, 14 TFL, 5.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
