Marquee Matchup: Richmond Randle at Iowa Colony

Preview and prediction between Richmond Randle at Iowa Colony, featuring RB Landen Williams-Callis and QB Carson White.

Richmond Randle (4-0, 1-0) at Iowa Colony (4-0, 1-0):

It’s another measuring stick showdown for Richmond Randle who last week impressed the entire state with their absolute domination of Fort Bend Marshall 45-7. They’ll have their hands full with another up and coming program entering their third year of varsity play in Iowa Colony who is also undefeated. Randle got a complete effort last week in their win over Marshall star sophomore RB Landen Williams-Callis led the Lions with four rushing touchdowns and the Randle defense did their part with their best effort of the season. Iowa Colony rolled in their district opener as they went out to Baytown and blasted the Baytown Lee Ganders 63-14, as sophomore QB Carson White led the Pioneers attack throwing for 257 yards and five touchdowns. Randle on paper has more experience and just looks to be the more complete team in all three phases, Iowa Colony is dynamic enough to push the Lions, but this Randle squad is a true regional and state threat.
