Under the sweltering heat of College Station, the annual 7-on-7 state championship brought together 128 high school teams to vie for the coveted DI, DII, and DIII titles. Despite an unexpected storm delay on day one that shuffled the pool play schedule, the competition remained fierce, as Gunter, Hamshire-Fannett and DeSoto captured the title belts.
