The Allen Eagles boast an abundance of college-level talents in all recruiting classes, with over 40 names to know, including QB Brady Bricker, WR Caleb Smith, CB Lebron Bauer, CB Kai Wheaton, OL Jacob McRae and more.
Class of 2025
2025 OL Colter Alberding (6'3, 290): A physical presence who led the team in pancake blocks in 2023 and has been rewarded with offers from Rice, Sam Houston, Texas State, UTEP, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Fordham, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Tulsa and UNLV. In addition to playing with a chip on his shoulder, Alberding is considered a team leader.
2025 QB Brady Bricker (6'2, 195): Bricker has been growing physically and has the type of frame that D1 schools get excited about, combined with a tremendous academic background. He completed 60% of his passes for 1,553 yards last season and has shown that he is a capable runner when his athleticism is needed to move the chains or score in the red zone (seven rushing TDs). Bricker recently picked up his first FBS-level offer from Ball State but still receives strong interest from UIW, Navy, Colgate, and North Dakota State.
2025 WR Donnell Gee (5'11, 160): Gee has tremendous ball skills and elite quickness. That combo of skills has paid off with offers from Texas Southern, Bryant and East Central. Tulsa, Arkansas State and Northwestern State are still actively recruiting him but have yet to offer.
"I have been at Allen my whole life," Gee said. " I am homegrown. They have been developing me into who I am now. It is the perfect place for me. I feel like it is the perfect place for anybody, to be honest."
2025 RB Micah Ellis (5'8, 175): There may not be a more important player for the team's projected success in 2024. Ellis filled in admirably for an injured Kayvion Sibley in 2023, developing into the team's bell cow. Ellis rushed for 1,082 yards and 16 touchdowns, earning offers from Central Arkansas and Texas Southern.

Class of 2026
2026 CB Lebron Bauer (5'10, 170): Bauer immediately jumped out in game action last season as a cornerback who loves to press the action. He is aggressive in coverage and a fearless tackler. His flexible hips allow him to hang tight in coverage, even when matched against bigger-bodied wideouts. His combination of skills has earned him a double-digit offer list featuring Arizona State, Arkansas, Houston, Texas Tech, and more.
2026 DE Jace Johnson (6'3, 215): You may have yet to hear much about this under-the-radar talent, but that will quickly change as folks are buzzing in the community about his upside. As a two-time district champion in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles, Johnson brings unique and rare qualities to the EDGE. He had a strong showing at the Rivals Combine with a 4.7 40-yard dash, 30-inch vertical and a 121-inch broad jump. UTSA was his first offer, but more could quickly follow after he puts his pass-rushing ability on tape this Fall. His father played OL at Baylor.
2026 OL Jacob McRae (6'5, 285): The son of Allen OC Larry McRae is a well-schooled offensive lineman with the size that college coaches dream about. He could play anywhere along the offensive front with his size and football smarts. Colleges are already showing him significant attention as he has secured offers from Colorado State and UNLV. McRae is in line for a breakout season in 2024.
2026 WR Caleb Smith (5'9, 155): Speed defines 'Jet's' game. He has plenty of it as he boasts 10.38 100-meter times. He is the school's most heavily recruited prospect with 13 offers, including Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Mississippi State, Nebraska and Texas Tech. Smith's speed will be used in many ways in high school and beyond—give him some space and let him cook.
2026 CB Kai Wheaton (5'10, 170): Wheaton is a cornerback with tremendous ball skills and a strong college/NFL pedigree. His father, Kenny Wheaton, was an All-American CB at Oregon before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, and his uncle, Markus Wheaton, earned All-Pac-12 honors at Oregon State before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Texas Tech, Houston, Arkansas, Oregon State and more have offered.

Class of 2027
This class will set the table for the team's future, and quite a few players are emerging whom we should note.
2027 ATH James "Trey" Roberson's (6'0, 175) development at the safety position is critical to the defense's success. They will need his athletic presence to limit the opposition's success in the middle of the field, especially considering that they boast two high-level coverage corners.
2027 LB Hova Willford (5'10, 190) was named to the DCTF Rising magazine's Top 25 list and is noted by the coaches as a "ball-playing dude," which is a high honor in coaching circles. He is a strong tackler with a high football IQ and a nose for the football.
The defense will need to fill the void left by DE Zina Umeozulu's departure to the Texas Longhorns. 2027 DE Jacobie Wilkerson (6'4, 195) and 2027 DE Okenna Ozumba (6'4, 200) are up-and-coming edge rushers who possess good athleticism and potential.
