Recruits of the Week - The Stars of the UIL State Track Meet

2024 Humble Atascocita and LSU signee Jelani Watkins won the 100-meter dash with a 10.19 and helped lead his team to a first-place finish in the 4x100 with a 39.14. 

2025 Refugio WR Ernest Campbell has now won 11 medals (10 Gold) and captured his fourth straight 100-meter championship with a 10.49.

2024 Gilmer ATH Will Henderson won gold in the 4A 100-meter with a 10.40. He is the highest-rated unsigned prospect in the 2024 cycle and will soon decide between Texas Tech and UTSA. 

2025 WR Dakorien Moore helped lead Duncanville to gold in the 6A 200-meter with a 1:22.25 alongside LSU 2024 signee RB Caden Durham and 2026 WR Ayson Theus. 

Prospect on the Rise - Lago Vista 2025 ATH Swayde Griffin

The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder won gold in the 4A 110-meter hurdles and announced an official visit to Texas Tech at the UIL State Track Meet. He is the newest DCTF three-star.

Underclassman of the Week - Winnsboro 2026 WR Camden Capehart

The 5-foot-9, 155-pounder won gold in the 4A 100-meter dash with a 10.44. He now has eight scholarship offers, including Arizona State, Cal and UTSA.
