Duncanville QB Keelon Russell has been named as the final five-star prospect in 2025, jumping two spots from No. 6 to No. 4. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound gunslinger has already collected two 6A Division I state title wins and his tremendous play has the Panthers favored this season. 

 

The Alabama commit, who was named as a finalist for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Year Award on Monday, has completed over 70% of his passes for 3,645 yards and 51 touchdowns.

Tobi Haastrup | 6'4, 230 | Katy Mayde Creek: Haastrup went from unknown to can't-miss. With 10.70 speed in the 100-meter and a chiseled frame, he's a QB's worst nightmare off the edge. Raw, explosive, and ready to shine. Considering Texas Tech, Florida State, Missouri, Oregon, and USC.

Kade Phillips | 6'0, 170 | Fort Bend Hightower: New No. 3 CB in Texas! Phillips is a long-jump monster (24-7.4) and a speedster (21.5 in the 200m). His track skills make him a rangy, lockdown corner who hunts interceptions. Committed to Texas.

Raycine Guillory | 5'10, 180 | Aledo: Reclassifying to 2025 hasn't slowed Guillory, who enters the rankings at No. 49. A shifty, downhill runner with quick cuts and a relentless forward drive, he's a consistent scoring threat. Considering Ole Miss and Utah.

Kaleb Burns | 6'1, 210 | Cypress Falls: Burns jumps 35 spots to No. 52 after adding improved pass coverage to his game. Already known for his explosive first step and blitzing ability, he's now a well-rounded linebacker with coverage skills. Committed to Baylor.

Nelson McGuire | 6'4, 280 | Midlothian: McGuire’s move from defense to offensive line has unlocked his potential. His athleticism and blocking ability make him one of Texas’ fastest-rising prospects. Committed to Texas A&M.

Terry Shelton | 6'3, 200 | Carrollton Ranchview: Shelton debuts at No. 69 and brings serious basketball hops to the gridiron. He's a nightmare matchup, a big-bodied receiver with speed and vertical skills. Committed to TCU.

Brendon Haygood | 5'10, 180 | Sachse: Haygood powers his way to No. 76! He’s a quick-cut specialist with elite balance and thrives in short-yardage situations. A dependable workhorse. Considering Missouri and Texas Tech.

Elliott Schaper | 6'2, 200 | Austin Westlake: Schaper’s versatility lands him in the Hot 100. A gap-filling linebacker with great length and ball skills, he’s a playmaker who can disrupt offenses inside and out. Committed to Duke.

Carmello Brooks | 6'3, 265 | Katy Paetow: Brooks’ stock is soaring under Coach David Hicks Sr. A force on the D-line, he’s blending raw power with refined technique and an explosive first step. Committed to Houston.

Cannon Valenzuela | 6'4, 200 | Jacksboro: He dominates on both sides—winning jump balls and breaking tackles on offense, and hitting hard on defense. Valenzuela had over 100 tackles and racked up over 1,000 receiving yards. Committed to Colorado State.

Quentin Gibson | 5'9, 165 | North Crowley: He’s quick, elusive, and dangerous on deep routes or short passes. Blink, and he’s in the end zone. Committed to Colorado. He's already scored 30 touchdowns this season.
