Silsbee 2024 WR Dre'lon Miller (6'0, 200) has committed to Colorado over offers from LSU, Texas A&M, USC and more.
Miller, a one-time Texas A&M commit, took multiple visits to Boulder and sees a clear path to success in the Buffaloes offense.
Sources close to his recruitment spoke glowingly about the relationship with Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, "Coach Prime has been awesome. He's been consistent. He's been the best 1-on-1 coach throughout his recruitment."
Miller is rated as a DCTF five-star, checking in as the No. 4 prospect in the Lone Star State.
He will be a valuable addition for QB Shedeur Sanders because he is a multi-dimensional offensive weapon.
Scouting Report: Colorado fans should be excited about this addition in a big way. Miller is the high school version of Deebo Samuel. Like Deebo, he's a bully on the field who is used in various ways to create mismatches. He's a fearless and focused wide receiver, adept at navigating the middle of the field and vertically stretching defenses. Demonstrates exceptional body control and strong, natural hands, excelling in winning contested catches. Exhibits a running back's vision when in possession, coupled with elusive open-field maneuvers. Miller is renowned for making impactful plays in the clutch, and (most importantly) he is physically ready to contribute immediately in college.
Miller is excited about his future in a Buffaloes jersey and is optimistic about his upside in the program.
"Prime Time plus Miller Time equals Winning Time," Miller passed along.
In his illustrious TXHSFB career, Miller racked up 4,325 yards and scored 51 touchdowns, eclipsing the 1,000-yard receiving mark three years in a row.
Miller was named to the DCTF Super Team and has earned invitations to play in the All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl.
